Ok so let's talk about washcloths. I've bought a few in my 53yrs... These are, by far, the best I've purchased. They are large, lather nicely, gently exfoliate, rinse quickly and (if we can be gross for a hot second) quickly release body hair, and dry quickly! They remind me of spa linens, and I love them. So much so, that I bought two more packs. Highly recommend.Just what I was looking for. Thinner than traditional washclothes so they dry faster and don't smell after use. : )My first Wow, was when I opened the package and felt how lightweight these towels are! Then I Wowed again after washing them and seeing how they dried on low heat so quickly. These are awesome!!!I love the texture of the Gilden Tree washcloth. So soft and drys very well! Great to use for simple hygiene or washing dishes.These are thin and slightly rough for good exfoliation. They are not uncomfortable. I prefer a thin, quick-drying, slightly rough washcloth for face and body. They do not scratch. If you prefer a super soft and thick washcloth, you at not like these. However they are perfect for me. I bought the stone color which is taupe.Manufacturer- consider making more dark colors. Dark colors don’t show stains from make-up.Great quality, thin but works great . Saves money on wash . More use, = more days with out washing. Less space .purchased the gray set and it is a nice color as well as weave. followed the prewash instructions before use. however, i did dry on a low cycle in the dryer which did produce a slight ripple effect on one edge.....was to be expected per instructions. nothing to get upset over and i think will disappear after next wash. if you are used to using a thicker wash cloth you will notice a difference right away: if used to steam your face not enough fabric to hold the heat. BUT the fabric does hold a lot of water and is very good for a gentle exfoliating type action. tradeoff. i really like that this fabric does allow me to wring it out really well and get a much quicker drying action which will reduce that off smell that develops when fabric is left too dry. yes, would recommend as long as you are clear for what you want and expect. if you need thick luxury look elsewhere. oh, and i do like how little storage room these occupy. while i do miss "steaming" my face for a longer period, i do not miss the mildew smell.I washed these right away to get that nice tight waffle weave. It’s perfect.
