Just finished reading Power Man and Iron Fist and can say I was really happy with it. It had a bit of a rocky start, in that I started it and put it down for later and didn't read it straight through. So something must not have "clicked" right off the bat (maybe life got in the way?). However when I picked it up again I found myself enjoying it immensely. One of the highlights for me was the hilarious dialogue by the characters. This book had me cracking up all the time. The writing has a very unique flavor to it.I admit Sanford Greene's art can be an acquired taste. It's just not for some, but then I was a big Bill Sienkiewicz and Frank Miller fan in the late 80's and some people just didn't like it at all. I say to each their own. I appreciate art, especially comic book art, for it's variances and the fact that not everything needs to look like Romita to be legit. Yeah, I can get into the more "traditional" comic art like Larroca or classic Byrne, but I say shake things up once in awhile. You gotta admit the cover is awesome!Do yourself a favor and give this book a chance. It deserves a good look. I think at the very least you'll find it to be a fun read.I know I'm really looking forward to Vol 2.
