This curling iron does have great temperature settings and heats up quickly. My hair is average thickness and I have a difficult time getting the clamp to hold my hair tight enough to curl it.Love the titanium barrel which makes the curls slide off with ease and great shine!The clip lever could be a little more streamlined which would help avoid tangling or accidentally burning your trigger-finger, and the body/handle shape is also less than ideal as your hand needs to slide up very close to the hot barrel to engage the lever, but with a little getting used to, this is a great tool in your beauty arsenal. Heats up and cools down quickly.Small metal kick-stand which folds back when not in use is nice, but I personally prefer the less intrusive fixed-type, non-metal stand which does not get in the way, heat up or grab surrounding hair when using.This curling iron is so easy to use. It has a digital temperature readout and it heats up so quickly. Not only does it work well but it was one of the least expensive!I have always used Revlon curling irons. I like this one because of the choices of temperatures. Since the barrel is larger, it produces nice loose curls. I usually end up with a tangled cord over time of use. this curling iron has a great swivel end at the cord and doesn't get tangled or kinked. My favorite curling iron by Revlon so far. Highly recommend. Revlon customer service is tops!I am enjoying using this curling iron. It has a good grip to firmly hold your hair in the barrel. It creates a curl that lasts all day, my curls even held up on a rainy day! I like the tip of this curling iron, it is large enough to hold on to and not burn your fingers. Multiple temperature settings. I also bought a second on for my daughter. The only issue I've noticed is that at times while curling my hair the position of my hand can change the temperature from my preferred setting. Overall I am glad that I purchased this curling iron.I like everything about it. My hair is very long and I was worried that with the smaller barrel than I usually use it might not work as well. Works wonderful and the curls stay in longer. I especially love the way the cord will not tangle.Nicer and much better quality then I expect!Great product for the price. Functions as described.
