I have a quite a bit of experience using cast iron and I really like this frying pan. Love the color! At first I thought I would like it to be deeper but I have used it consistantly and it has not been an issue- it is actually easier to slide eggs out of it. Great value for the money and very easy clean up.Nice enamel on outside; rough enamel on inside. Seems heavy and would last but had to return since I was looking for smooth interior.The skillet that I received is NOT the same as the one in the description. The handle is shorter. It's missing the helper handle completely. And it seems to be shallower than the one in their picture. I had to double check the diameter of the skillet to make sure it is indeed 10.25". Not sure why they even have different versions of this skillet. The outer enamel finish was nice though. Either way, I am sending this one back.Perfect size, seems to be non stick; really holds the heat well almost like having a pretty small griddleis great for all sorts of cooking; could use a little more height on the edge of the skillet but other thanthat is really a wonderful skillet; could well become my favorite in the kitchen.I decided to purchase this enameled cast iron mainly for making foods that can stick to the pan, like eggs. I own two other enameled cast iron and they are completely non stick. This one is not even close!!. I am so shock that they are selling this piece if defective junk as enameled. In these pictures that was day one of using this for the very first tine. And look at what I got. By the way these pictures were taken after scrubbing for couple of minutes.I love this pan!!! Cooks so evenly and heats well. And it’s so pretty!!!Very niceThis fryer will not allow you to cook pancakes they stick to the pan. In addition the handle gets hot.I love caste iron cookware, so when I read it has a non stick coating I was thrilled. When I cook bacon and eggs in a regular caste iron pan or a Tfal pan my eggs don’t stick. That is not the case with the Megachef pan. The eggs stick even if I grease the pan before I use it. Definitely will not buy any future products from Megachef. Waste of money.
