Not absorbent like terry but soft and comfortable.I'm a woman who typically wears a 3X in shirts and am a size 22 in dresses and jeans. I was trying to decide between the XXL and the 4X, and based on the measurements provided, I "should" have been able to order the XXL, but something told me to buy the 4X, and I'm glad I did. I'd say it's the perfect size for me...has enough material to wrap around and not leave any gaps. It snaps together easily and stays in place, haven't had to constantly pull it up while wearing it. Plan to order some of these wraps for Christmas gifts later this year for my friends. My only complaint would be that I wish it came in more colors or patterns; hence only 4 stars.Love this coverup! I would recommend buying larger sizes so it can accommodate most people. So far they have washed well.Love this spa wrap! So soft and comfortable.
