If you love bluegrass...and even if you don't....you will love this early album from the Gibson brothers. They grew up in northern NY, but they could as easily have come out of Kentucky. The title song tells of the hard times in the iron mines of northern New York, where the only relief from working in the mines was playing baseball. Smooth brother harmonies and compelling lyrics combine to give you great contemporary bluegrass. The Gibson Brothers write as well as they sing. In the last two years they've been scooping up awards from the bluegrass community.
