I use this branding iron to put my logo on my charcuterie boards. I got the 2” because the letting shows up better. It heats up fast with a hand propane torch in about 2 minutes and when hot enough I can brand 4 boards at a time 3-6 seconds. The best way to use it is in a drill press.I bought this as a gift for my son as he does a lot of woodworking in his spare time. This is a custom made item and it came so fast I was shocked. In addition when i ordered the seller reached out to me to make some suggestions because I was ordering the smaller size and the detail wold not have shown that well with the size I was ordering. Turns out I would not have been happy with the 1" size I was ordering to begin with because the size I ultimatley went with was perfect. Very good quality workmanship as well. I would definitley buy from this seller again. My son loved it way more than I though he would. Great quality for the price as well.This exceeded all expectations. Great clarity down to the finest detail of the design. They worked closely and communicated with me to make sure I got exactly what I was looking for. After talking with the companies they were able to do an upgrade and redo my iron. The second time I got the 2x2 and it came out beautifully. I'm very happy with this product and it works very well. Unfortunately the written part is too small and is hard to read when burnt into wood. Ordered the biggest option and paid little more to find out there is companies out here that make more durable ones and bigger for the same price. Little disappointed but it served ita purpose at the time. Probably would shop around instead of ordering this one again.
