I needed a travel curling iron for international travel and this product does not have dual voltage. That was surprising because every other small appliance I've seen (electric shavers, hair dryers, mobile phones, etc.) are all dual voltage. I expected a product for travel to be equipped to be used when traveling outside the US. The iron is really small and would have been a good compact alternative to traveling with a large curling iron, but I had to return it. I never tried to use it, so I can't comment on how well it works.
